Leading by example and driving GGR Communication’s passionate attention to detail as well as the provision of quality solutions and services is Adrian Clinton-Watkins, Managing Director since 2007. Adrian is also a member of an elite group of professionals holding a double CCIE qualification.
Adrian joined GGR Communications when it formed in 1994 after completing a degree in Aeronautical engineering at Bristol University. He has over 20 years’ of network experience and was appointed Managing Director in 2008. In 2009 he became one of just 300 people globally to be awarded a double CCIE accreditation in Routing & Switching, and Voice. Now a 10-year CCIE, Adrian remains hands-on with the technical side of the business, as well as being the driving force behind GGR Communications Group, from design and presales, through to installation and support. Away from work, Adrian is an avid skier and also competes in Speed and Hill climb motorsport events, in a car he builds and drives.
Head of Operations
After completing a BA (Hons) degree in Business Studies, Katharine went on to specialise in finance, becoming an FCCA. She joined GGR Communications in 2006 heading up their finance department, as well as taking on the role of Company Secretary. As the company grew, the role developed, becoming Head of Operations in 2013. While this role still encompasses responsibility for Finance and HR, Kath plays a pivotal role in supporting Adrian in running the business on a day to day basis, giving him the time to remain involved in any complex technical issues
Head of Service & Support
After completing a BSc Hons. Computing Science degree, Paul joined GGR Communications in 2007 as a Graduate Network Engineer working both on projects and within our Support Team. After almost 4 years in this role Paul moved into Technical Presales where he was responsible for meeting with customers to understand their challenges, translating these into technical designs and solutions. Paul became Head of Presales in 2014 and held this position for 3 years, before moving into his current role. He currently holds multiple Cisco certifications at Associate and Professional level, in addition to certifications with Meraki and Xirrus. Outside of work, Paul enjoys spending time with his family, surfing and skiing.
Sam has over 15 years’ experience working in finance. She joined GGR in 2006 as Finance and Admin Assistant and has progressed over the years to her present position as Management Accountant. Sam is responsible for the Company’s Accounts and looking after the day-to- day running of the Finance and Admin Department. Sam’s spare time is spent with friends and family, running weekly, and taking part in the occasional mud run.
