Why do GGR Partner with Telstra?

Telstra's buying power with BT and their own network gives GGR access to data, voice and Internet services at a lower cost. This means we can offer our customers a total solution including circuit provisioning, installation and support.

Data Circuits

Through Telstra we have direct access to wholesale BT Data services and products. This allows us to offer novation of existing circuits. Novation is the process where GGR takes ownership of BT services from our customer, and from BT’s point of view become their customer. BT charge GGR less for the service than they would our customer as a result of discounts that GGR obtain via Telstra.

As a major purchaser of BT services Telstra enjoys a close operational relationship (provisioning and support) and significant discounts on many products. In addition to BT products and services we can also offer national and international data circuits using Telstra's UK and International network.

Internet Access

Telstra International run a world wide Internet data network. Throughout the UK we can offer all types of Internet connectivity from GigE, Fast Ethernet, Ethernet and Megastream to ADSL and SDSL services. With these services we can provide redundancy and specialist solutions such as MPLS break out.

Our partnership with Telstra allows us access to Hosting at their datacentres. The London Hosting Centre (LHC) and the Cambridge Hosting Centre (CHC) are state-of-the-art datacentres owned by Telstra Europe, and they provide high end Hosting and Co-location services in the UK.
