August 2007:
GGR implement Unified
Communications for “Millionaire” Producers
GGR Communications are
pleased to announce the completion of the successful implementation of a
Cisco Unified Communications solution for 2waytraffic Ltd, following their relocation
to new premises in New
Cavendish Street, W1.
2waytraffic is a global
leader in interactive entertainment, and in December 2006 2waytraffic
acquired the global rights, assets and businesses of the world renowned
format “Who Wants To Be A Millionaire?” and Celador
International including its format catalogue, giving the company a UK
presence and enlarging its global reach.
With the relocation
providing the perfect opportunity to replace legacy voice and data systems,
2waytraffic asked GGR to provide a fully featured telephony solution, complete
with video calling from desktops. GGR specified Cisco 3560 series switches
for the infrastructure, and Unified Call Manager running on Cisco MCS
servers for the call processing. Unified Video Advantage and a mixture of
7941G, 7970G IP phones and 7936 IP conference stations were deployed as
endpoints.
Following the
successful implementation and initial handover support, GGR were also
awarding the contract for ongoing support and maintenance of the IP
Telephony solution.
