As an existing member of the exclusive ‘1st XV Club’ the clear option was to sponsor a player. With numerous changes in this season’s squad, we chose Kevin Barrett, the player who best reflected GGR’s core values.
Kevin, a home grown player and member of the England Sevens squad, joined Saracens in July this year and brings a great deal of dynamism to the team. His experience adds to the expertise of the squad, and he will also help develop younger, less experienced members over the coming seasons.
Born in Ascot, Kevin was integral to helping the England Sevens Squad win their first tournament in New Zealand, followed by the win at Twickenham in May 2009.
