Kinnerton Confectionary

"We spent a long time assessing how we could improve our voice and data network. Once GGR became involved in the project they were quick to understand what we were trying to achieve, helped to define the scope and agreed a solution that won the tender. We now have a reliable and robust Wide Area Network and VoIP that delivers more functionality and saves us money."

"Shortly after going live with the project we were subjected to a distributed denial of service attack on our email system, and GGR went way beyond the terms of the service agreement to help us survive it. I have been impressed with the depth and breadth of expertise that GGR has demonstrated, and recommend them as a provider of network solutions." Matthew Davies, Head of IT and Commercial Supply Chain, Kinnerton Confectionary.

Kinnerton Confectionary is the largest independent UK Company operating in the field of children’s and adult confectionary novelties. They were also the first confectioner in the world to offer chocolate that was manufactured in a Segregated Nut-Free Zone. Kinnerton offer full segregation of their facility and their staff to ensure total separation of their nut free facilities from their general areas.

GGR replaced Kinnerton's LAN infrastructure with new POE and QoS architecture which was driven by the replacement of the telephony across all sites with VoIP using Cisco Call Manager. This allowed Kinnerton to reduce reception staffing across the business as calls were directed to centralised telephony staff, and IVR was introduced to direct operator calls.
