History

The journey began in May 1994 when GGR Communications Ltd. was formed by Stuart Clinton-Watkins, Peter Clarke and Roger Bell, with the aim of providing quality solutions for businesses who want to get the most value from their voice and data network. Three years later, Ken Gooding joined the company as a director, bringing with him Cornet Switching Systems which was created as a subsidiary company of GGR Communications Group, focusing on MoD, government and military communications.

Adrian Clinton-Watkins, who joined the company when it was founded, became Managing Director in 1999. He recognized that partnering with Cisco would allow GGR to broaden their skills across multiple technologies to ensure that GGR could continue to design and offer the latest solutions and technologies, together with world-leading hardware. GGR are now a Cisco Premier Partner and hold certifications in Advanced Unified Communications (VoIP) and Wireless Networks.
