Cisco WebEx is an online collaboration tool that lets users share their desktop, deliver presentations and host online meetings. At a time when businesses are looking at their overheads a solution that can deliver training, support and presentations remotely, without having to travel from the office is very welcome.
WebEx can also just be used for voice conferencing using traditional PBX dial in or the internet using VOIP. Within a few seconds a conference call can be setup using WebEX desktop and a telephone number and access code are sent via email to the conference participants.
GGR have also incorporated WebEx into their working practices to offer their clients a more interactive support and maintenance service via WebEx Support Centre. Jeff Heath Engineering Manager at GGR says ‘WebEx Support Centre will allow us to investigate and resolve support cases more quickly without jeopardising the quality of support that GGR is so proud of.’
